WATER PLANT PROJECT OPENS! On Friday, August 13, 2010, a beautiful and inspiring opening ceremony took place: The Water Filtration Plant was officially opened for use! The students and teachers at Our Lady of the Rosary School prepared a beautiful inauguration ceremony. The water plant was surrounded by huge kites decorated with Guatemalan culture and folklore. The ceremony included a blessing of the plant by Father. Enrique Landaverde, lots of speeches, cultural skits, music and dancing performed by the K-9 students. After the ceremony it was wonderful to see families coming to the plant and filling up their 5-gallon cylinders with CLEAN WATER! You can see pictures and videos of the opening HERE.

Hold Dear What is Sacred....

The mothers and fathers of Guatemala face a struggle each day for basic survival for their families. Together, with your help we can bring resources and opportunity and save lives.  Often what we take for granted, is sacred to them...clean water, health clinics, education.

Grace Centre was established in collaboration with the local church of Guatemala and the mission priest Padre Mario Ochoa to provide enhanced health projects and services that uphold the health and dignity of the human person.  The heart of our mission is to help create a more sustainable quality of life for families of Guatemala and continue a 'ministry of presence' to the poor.

Learning and understanding the challenges and misery the families face in affiliated communities, we have developed services and resources that address needs ranging from clean water systems to community health projects to prevent malnutrition.
